Prose and Poetry
"Just Another Memory to Forget" is a poem penned by me. It's about a bittersweet memory better left forgotten.

"Resilient Beauty" is a poem I stumbled upon a few months back and it has stuck with me. Time and time again it has reminded me that although I am resilient, I am also human. I can show the side of me I tend to hide and that the emotional death we sometimes feel will pass. I don't always have to be the strong one and that sometimes it is ok to cry. Because in the end even though it feels like I am dying inside, I will soar and I will fly again! |
"There She Goes" is about a journey of a father and mother letting their daughter be who she is meant to be. |
"Butterflies" is a short poem of that feeling you get when you feel that flutter in your stomach when you are with someone special. |
"My Mother" is a short poem written in honor for my mom. There isn't any amount of words that convey all that I want to say or to express how much she means to me. |
"Smoldering Rose" is a quick snippet of a metaphor inspired by a picture. |
"Strangers" is a piece that had been rolling around in my head for a few months. Its a brief piece of the circle of life of some friendships. |
"Enough" is a prose piece about a woman faced with the insecurities about her body and questioning why she isn't enough. |
